Brington and Molesworth Parish Council has prepared a draft Neighbourhood Plan for the parish. Once adopted, this plan will form part of the statutory Development Plan for the area and will help guide future planning decisions up to 2036. The Neighbourhood Plan sets out a local vision and planning policies to protect what residents value most about Brington and Molesworth — its rural setting, heritage and community spirit — while helping to shape any future development in a way that benefits local people. The Plan does not allocate any new housing sites, as existing development has already met the parish’s housing requirement to 2036. Instead, it focuses on ensuring that future development is of high quality, respects the villages’ distinctive character, supports local services and protects the surrounding countryside.
.
Pre-Submission (Regulation 14) Consultation was completed successfully on 5th February 2026.
