We are contacting you to ask for your help promoting the Department for Transport’s campaign aimed at increasing the number of bus journeys taken by concessionary bus passholders across the country.
To achieve this aim they have produced a number of promotional materials with the aim of creating awareness of the different types of journey a concessionary bus passholder could use their pass for.
To help support this campaign we would greatly appreciate if you could arrange for these A4 posters to go up on your parish noticeboards or at places you feel would be most appropriate as soon as possible. As you will see from the two posters attached to this email, the aim of the campaign is to show the different moments that can be enjoyed by these bus pass holders when travelling by bus.
We have asked that the bus operators and libraries also display these posters to help create awareness of the campaign and help encourage those with passes to use them more. Therefore any help that you can give us with the promotion of this campaign to residents throughout Cambridgeshire and Peterborough would be most appreciated.
